2019 POLLS: OKOWA- WE- KNOW- OKOWA -WE -SUPPORT GROUP CONGRATULATES THE GOVERNOR ON HIS RE-ELECTION VICTORY

ASABA – A political pressure group under the aegis of ‘’Okowa we know-Okowa we support’’ led by its National President, Comrade Williams Ugboh has Congratulated Governor Ifeanyi Okowa on his re-election victory in the just concluded Guber election in Delta which took place on March 9th, 2019, Stated that it is a victory for the development of Delta State.

Speaking to Newsmen in his office at Asaba, Delta State Capital today by the group Leader, comrade Williams Ugboh Stated that Okowa’s Victory is as a result of his developmental strides in different sectors of the State economy, especially youths and sports development.

‘’Deltans voted en mass for Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in 2019 general elections because he has delivered and promoted positively the dividends democracy to the masses through his policies and programs’’, Comrade Ugboh stated.

‘’The African games we see today in Asaba that has promoted the development of the Youths and Sports Sectors in Delta was made possible by Okowa’s administration. Also note that the Voters, electorates in the State have taken note of all these; which was reciprocated by ensuring that Governor Okowa emerged Victorious in the Guber elections’’, Comrade Williams Stated.

‘’We Commend all those that has made his re-election possible, especially all the political pressure groups in Delta that worked for this Excellency, Sen. Dr. Arthur Ifeanyi Okowa’’, he said.

‘’Okowa we know- Okowa we support group is a socio-political pressure group we established. We join forces and that worked for Okowa’s re-election. Our group believed in Okowa with a membership structure in the 25 LGAs of Delta State. Apart from the even development he fostered in the three Senatorial districts of the state, Governor Okowa was re-elected by Deltans as a result of his antecedents towards good governance, and transparent Leadership which he is known for over the years’’, Comrade Williams Stated.

‘’We admonish all Deltans to Continue in their usual support to Gov-Okowa. No doubt, in this second term he will perform excellently, far beyond expectation. There will be more prosperity for all Deltans’’, he added.
